2010 has final arrived and South Africa is beginning to 'buzz'. At Panorama we are looking forward to another great year at the graveyard. During the summer we accepted Baseball into the Panorama Family. Baseball is one the fastest growing sports in South Africa so it should be part of the fastest growing club in Gauteng. Their chairman has a wonderful vision for baseball at Panorama and we are really excited to be part of it.

From a football side, we have appointed external consultants (Education Through Soccer) to assist with bringing a proper coaching structure to Panorama. Although it may take a few years for the structure to bear fruit we are really optimistic for this year ahead.

We are moving into an important year regarding development at Panorama. I have appointed Patrick van Gool (ex ex Chairman of Panorama Sports Club) to head up our Development Committee which includes members of the Executive Committee. The mandate of the Development Committee is to ensure the development of facilities at the club that is aligned to our overall vision of becoming the biggest and best sporting club in Gauteng. The Committee has been meeting potential investors and has received a number of proposals. If you have any questions regarding the development please do not hesitate to contact me.

Talking of development our Rugby section has started working on their fields which we are hoping will be completed in middle season. Currently they are using Allen Glen School to train and play matches. We are moving closer to our vision, slowly but surely, and over the next few months you as members will be able to see it.
